Falling Leaves Grid Wide Treasure Hunt 2009

As summer turns to fall (or autumn depending on where you are in the world) and the days start to get shorter, it's easy to get gloomy and bored.

And so we're starting this great new grid wide treasure hunt on November 1st! Many wonderful shop owners from all over Second Life have joined together to give you fantastic prizes, each carefully hidden somewhere in their shop..... all YOU have to do is find them!

Start at the starting point (LM below) and inside each prize folder is the LM to the next shop that's got a fabulous prize hidden just waiting for you to find it. Along the way you'll make new friends, find wonderful new places you've never seen before and be warned - your inventory will be stuffed full of goodies for free!

We have a hunters group set up so you can swap hints as to where the prizes are hidden (no giving exact locations though please, that's cheating). Just copy the link below into your chat box and click on it - the group is free to join and once the hunt begins it'll be really useful.

Here's a few guidelines for our hunters - we hate rules - but sometimes we need to gently point things out.

1) All of our shop keepers are giving their time and prizes freely - amazingly generous of them. If you don't like their prize please don't be so rude as to whine - just delete the prize and move on.

2) By all means exchange hints and help others - but don't give exact locations or (even worse) shout the locations out when you find the prize. That's considered cheating!

3) Be nice - play fair. Goes without saying really :)

4) Most important of all - HAVE FUN! It's what hunts are all about :)
